Halloween!!!

Halloween was so much fun this year! I had a new costume, which was very flattering on me. I was a Corpse Bride. You can see the pic above. Also, the white on the costume glowed because of the black light at the doorway. So, that was really cool.

Every year for the past 4 years (I think) - ever since we've owned our current house, we've gone all out for Halloween. This year we added a huge graveyard in our front lawn. It was awesome. I always dress up, and my husband does all the special effects (music, strobe lights, black lights, thunder clap machines, etc).

I'll post a link when he gets the rest of the pics posted online so that you can see them. This was just a quick pic of me in my costume that my friend took of me on my iphone (I'm really starting to like the picture functionality of my phone).

We had TONS of kids this year. I think the fame of our house has grown each year. Plus, the weather was absolutely perfect. We had 4 kids this year who were too afraid to come up to the door this year. My husband considers it a success as long as there's at least 1. We got tons of compliments from the kids and their parents. And, we got more screamers this year than normal. It was fun. I answered the door and handed out candy in my costume from about 6:15 - 8:45pm. It was good.

As for fitness-related, I splurged on 2 things this year (no not candy) - 1 glass of wine and a small Wendy's Chili. My calories were above normal because of the Chili at the end of the night, but it was good.
