Now that I'm down to a "normal" weight, it's getting harder to take my body to the next level. This morning I weighed the same as I did for the progress update for week 15 - so almost 2 weeks ago. I've been busting my ass for 1 lb/week drops. For the level of effort I've been putting in, plus for the level of discipline that I've had with my nutrition, I want to see some better results.
To that end, I'm going to up the ante again. I'm going to tighten up my nutrition even more. I'll be supplementing with my IsoPure protein powder more frequently throughout the day. I'm going to cut out the little "fluff" that I have remaining in my diet. So, calories will be a bit down, while maintaining my high protein intake. I'm going to cut down to 1 piece of fresh fruit a day for most days (some days I might still have 2), and I'm going to reduce carbs late in the day. Also, I'm starting a thermogenic supplement today, recommended by my brother. So, it should help maintain my energy levels and metabolism while I'm streamlining my calories. It should also act as an appetite suppressant.
Exercise-wise, I'm going to crank up the cardio. I'll probably add cardio on days that I do weights, and I'm going to crank up the intensity of my runs. My goal is to lose 8-10 lbs in 4 weeks, taking me to what will probably be my goal weight (so at least a 2 lb weight loss per week). I'm not sure if this is doable. But, I'll soon find out.
