Tae Bo Funk DVD Workout
I did the Tae Bo Funk DVD video today. It had a running time of 46 minutes, but there was a little talking at the start and end, so it was probably more like a 42-43 minute workout. I was very wary at the beginning of the dvd because it started with some weird funk music and some club-type dance moves. I don't quite have those types of dance moves - moving the pelvis and arms in a co-ordinated fashion. So, I probably looked really ridiculous trying to emulate him, but I tried. As the dvd went on, though, there was such a variety to it. It even included dance moves such as the robot and the twist! It was very fast paced, and there were tons of different moves and routines. So, I wound up really enjoying it. It's very different from a traditional Tae Bo video. And, it was an excellent workout. I wound up sweating up a storm, so it really did its job. It also had a lot of moves that worked the abs, which was nice. All in all, it was a fun workout. And, it's one that I'm sure I'll repeat whenever I want a 45 minute or so cardio workout. I probably would have preferred different music, but it is definitely still a fun video.
